The first step in sedative addiction treatment is typically medical detoxification. During this process, our medical team monitors clients 24/7 to ensure their safety and comfort as they go through withdrawal from sedatives. Medications may be used to manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings.
Our residential inpatient treatment program provides a supportive and structured environment for clients to focus on their recovery. Clients participate in individual and group therapy, as well as other evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Our experienced staff provides personalized care to help clients develop the skills and tools they need to achieve lasting recovery.
Our intensive outpatient program is a less intensive option for clients who have completed residential treatment or for those who do not require 24/7 supervision. Clients participate in therapy and other recovery activities for several hours daily, several days a week.
Many individuals struggling with sedative addiction may also have co-occurring mental health disorders, such as depression or anxiety. Our dual diagnosis treatment program is designed to address both the addiction and any underlying mental health conditions to promote holistic healing.
At Wellbrook Recovery, we believe that aftercare planning is essential to addiction treatment. We work with clients to develop individualized aftercare plans that may include ongoing therapy, participation in support groups, and other activities to promote lasting recovery.
